Steroid Levels Across Experimental Conditions

This unique section presents steroidomic data, focusing on pregnenolone levels and other relevant steroids across various mast cell types and experimental conditions. The presence of all major steroids was determined by chromatography and tandem mass-spectrometric steroid-profiling after sample extraction. It provides crucial insights into the newly discovered mast cell-mediated steroidogenesis and its implications.

Important note: Mature mast cells were cultured for 5 days, however, regranulating mast cells were cultured only for 8 hours before harvesting cell culture supernatant for steroid profiling.
